Tigh na Coille has been lovingly restored to sleep up to eight people. The former manse house follows a traditional Scottish floor plan, with larger rooms for gathering and cosy rooms for resting.
The house features a spacious sitting room, a light-filled day room, an ample kitchen and an elegant dining room. There are four bedrooms, two shower rooms, and one bathroom. Outside, there is space to sit, cook and play, or simply take in the wonderful views. Tigh na Coille is family and dog-friendly.
Decorated in earthy colours and featuring an open fire and classic Danish furniture, the main Sitting Room is a comfortable space to enjoy long-awaited catch-ups, board games and pre-dinner drinks. Upstairs, the Day Room is the perfect place to hide away and find a cosy reading spot, or take a late afternoon nap.
The four individually named bedrooms are beautifully decorated in calming colours or hand-printed wallpaper. Each has its own unique character and views of the loch, mature trees or the surrounding hills.
Made to measure by local craftsmen, the house’s kitchen is stocked with all the tools you need to cook up a family-style feast, from a large AGA to modern coffee machine. The elegant dining room features a handmade table seating up to eight and beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.
The house has its own private gardens with magnificent views of the hills and Loch Ness. With patio seating and a Big Green Egg, this is the perfect spot for a big barbecue or lazy afternoon lunch. The large lawn is ideal for family games or playing fetch with four-legged friends. You will also find unique natural and historic sites right on your doorstep.
